Antonette Artiz, of Virtual Details, LLC, Wins VA of the Year
At AssistU's 2nd Annual Community Recognition Awards held in Las Vegas, Antonette Artiz was named the VA of the Year by her peers.

WALDORF, MD, December 10, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Antonette Artiz was awarded 2008 VA of the Year by her peers at AssistU on Saturday, September 20, 2008. AssistU (the premiere training program for the world's finest Virtual Assistants-VAs) held its 2nd Annual Community Recognition Awards in Las Vegas. It was a weekend chock-full of events for VAs from all over the country to connect, support, and celebrate one another. The awards ceremony luncheon took place at Caf Ba Ba Reeba in the Fashion Show Mall on Las Vegas Blvd. South.

VAs were acknowledged for their outstanding contribution(s) to the AssistU Community. There were eight categories recognized: Honorary AssistU Community Member, Volunteer of the Year, Portal Poster of the Year, AssistU Staff Member of the Year, the IT Girl (or Boy!) of the Year, Buddy of the Year, Most Supportive Community Member of the Year, and VA of the Year. The VA of the Year award honors the VA who, by a vote of his or her peers, best exemplifies the qualities and characteristics of a top-notch AssistU VA. Some of the specific qualities are: Actively working in his/her practice, volunteers and/or mentors others, enjoys a good reputation within our community, always seems ahead of the learning curve on new things, and never hesitates to jump in and try new things. In general, if you feel someone is just beyond awesome, that's the person you should consider voting for.

Antonette Artiz, owner of Virtual Details, LLC, has been a member of the AssistU Community for eight years. In addition to being honored as VA of the Year, Ms. Artiz was also nominated for the Most Supportive Community Member of the Year. At the AssistU awards luncheon, she was presented with a beautiful, crystal award to mark the occasion. Ms Artiz was more than grateful for having such an honor bestowed upon her by her peers.

Antonette Artiz is one of six Certified Master Virtual Assistants in the world, has nearly thirty years of administrative support experience, including eight years of running her own virtual assistance practice, and she partners with nonprofit volunteer boards of directors.
